BORBET FOCUSES ON ELECTRIC SMARTS.
The BORBET LV4 wheels in 5.5x15 inch provide uncompromising driving pleasure. The noble colour variant "black glossy" perfectly rounds off the trend-setting appearance. The topic of sustainability has been firmly anchored at BORBET for a long time: Only recently, the traditional manufacturer was the only wheel producer in the world to be successfully certified according to the Performance Standard of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). This non-profit organisation has set itself the goal of creating more sustainability and transparency for the responsible use of aluminium as a raw material along the entire aluminium value chain.The E-Smarts project provides another important step into the future and takes the BORBET motto "No matter how good you already are, you can always get better" to the next level.
BORBET IMPLEMENTS SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
In Medebach (North Rhine-Westphalia), we replaced the conventional HQI lighting in other areas with LED lamps last year. The replacement represents a small building block in BORBET's sustainability strategy.
BORBET USES WASTE HEAT
All BORBET sites have launched initiatives to reduce energy consumption. The use of waste heat at our melting furnaces was particularly successful. Burner air preheating was successfully introduced at the sites, where hot exhaust gas is passed through a heat exchanger to return energy to the burners.
BORBET E-SMARTS.
BORBET has a wide range of wheels for vehicles with alternative drive systems. It is therefore only logical that the focus is now also increasingly being placed on sustainability in the company's own fleet.
