FROM INTERN TO TRAINER
Sarah started in 2011 with a one-year internship in the electrical department at the Medebach site, then completed her training as an electronics technician and successfully completed the master craftsman course in electrical engineering in 2022.

Today she works as a training manager in the BORBET training workshop in Hesborn and supports the junior industrial clerks (m/f/d) in their daily development.

FROM APPRENTICE TO TEAM LEADER
Benjamin started his apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at the Bad Langensalza location in 2009. After various career steps and a short detour outside the BORBET world, he is now a team leader in maintenance.

What he particularly appreciates about his current job is the collegial teamwork and taking on responsibility for conversions and special repairs.

FROM IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR TO HEAD OF SAP
Patrick Figgen has been head of the SAP team for all BORBET locations since 2021 - he started as an IT system administrator at the Hesborn location in 2010.

He particularly appreciates the values of an international family business at BORBET. In his position, he is present at all BORBET plants and, together with his cross-location team, ensures the operation, alignment and further development of the SAP landscape.

FROM APPRENTICE TO HEAD OF TEST CENTRE
In just 9 years, Simon Furtner has worked his way up from a process technology apprentice to a management position at BORBET Austria. Numerous further training opportunities and a double apprenticeship as a surface technician paved the way. It all started with taster days in the 9th grade.

Today Simon Furtner is co-responsible for the strength tests of the newly developed light alloy wheels.

FROM APPRENTICE TO PAINT SHOP MANAGER
His success story began in 1987 with an apprenticeship as an industrial selector and electromechanic.

His subsequent career is characterised by continuous further training: After his apprenticeship, he completed the foreman's school and in 2016 he completed his management training to become a GEMBA academic.

He has been head of the paint department since 2012 and is responsible for 240 employees (m/f/d).
