... during your training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) you will have the opportunity to specialise in many fields. You can also shorten your apprenticeship to three years if you perform particularly well. The door is also open for you to gain further qualifications as a master craftsman, technician or other qualification.

YOUR WORK DAY
06:00 a.m.
Mein Arbeitstag beginnt mit einer Besprechung mit den Gesellen, die mir mitteilen, welche Reparaturen anliegen und welche Aufgaben ich erledigen kann.
06:30 a.m.
Now it's time for the morning tour of the machining department. Here I check all the machines and top up the lubricating oils.
07:30 a.m.
Next up is a repair in production. My colleague explains the upcoming work steps to me and together we repair the defective machine. After our approval, production can continue there.
10:00 a.m.
Break!
10:30 a.m.
I repair damaged spare parts, then store them and finally book them into the SAP system.
10:45 a.m.
Machine downtime! - I have to quickly replace a defective V-belt in a high-gloss turning cell in order to minimise machine downtime. A sense of responsibility is very important in my job, because idle machines mean stagnant production and therefore lower quantities.
01:00 p.m.
I tidy up the workshop, sort the delivered spare parts and also book them into SAP.
02:30 p.m.
Now I'm off work.
