Ring printing is a further development of rotary pad printing, specially developed for the design of the rim flange. The unique wrapping of the rim flange is the outstanding feature of this process. Even with low-profile tyres, this technique guarantees a continuous look and offers numerous customisation options thanks to a wide range of colour combinations. In addition, the process enables a very wide range of colours, including the development of colours according to the customer's individual wishes.

Pad printing offers an extremely flexible option for customising wheels, as various colour concepts, ornaments and visual highlights such as logos or lettering can be precisely implemented. This printing technique enables the precise reproduction of multiple colours and contours with 100% motif fidelity. It also offers a very wide colour spectrum, which even allows colours to be developed according to the customer's specific wishes.

After the wheel has been coated with the respective base coat, specific areas are machined using milling or turning and sealed with coloured clear lacquer. This gives the machined surface its special metallic sheen and emphasises the light background of the aluminium.

The basecoat gives every BORBET wheel an even base colour. High-quality and environmentally friendly paints guarantee sustainable and long-lasting results.
