Which study programs are possible?
We offer various dual study programs in the commercial, technical and IT fields. As a dual student (m/f/d), you will be involved in day-to-day business, accompany exciting projects and grow with complex tasks. We are happy to act as a practical partner - even for universities with which we have not yet cooperated.
YOUR TASKS:
Your tasks will depend on the relevant course of study. The following tasks await you, for example, as part of a dual study program in the commercial field:- Supporting the key account managers in their daily work
- Preparing offers
- Processing new customer enquiries
- Price maintenance
- Contact person for customers
- Preparation of and participation in customer appointments
YOUR WORK DAY
At BORBET, you have the choice between a technical or commercial dual study program. Here you can find out what your working day might look like as part of a business degree course:07:00 a.m.
Flexitime allows me to decide when I start work - I can start between 7.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m.. After clocking in, I make my way to the office. There I boot up the computer and answer the e-mails I've received from customers and colleagues.
08:00 a.m.
I am now processing an inquiry from a customer. I enter the basic data such as part number, dimension, color code, etc. in information sheets I and II. This task can sometimes take a little longer due to the many different part numbers.
10:30 a.m.
After I have transferred the data to the info sheets, info sheet II is forwarded to my colleagues in Design & Development. The feasibility of the technical data is checked there.
11:00 a.m.
Next, I have the task of working with our trainee to create an evaluation of all inquiries. First, we extract the request data from a program. Due to the amount of data, this can also take a little more time.
12:30 p.m.
Now it's time for lunch. I sit in the office with my colleagues, chat and have lunch with them.
01:00 p.m.
After the lunch break, I sit down at the computer again with our apprentice to do the analysis. Once we have entered the data from the program into Excel, we can create the corresponding diagrams. Our aim is to compare the number of inquiries for each customer over the years.
03:30 p.m.
And that's how quickly it ends. The task is very extensive and will therefore take several days. I have saved the evaluation so far so that I can continue working on it tomorrow. Now it's time to shut down the computer, sign off and head to the parking lot.
